New Perfect Point Drill Sharpening Center in Full Operation
In continuing support of its PCB Supply offerings, Matrix is proud to announce that its new Perfect Point Drill Sharpening Center is in full operation. The new facility is equipped with a completely automated Drill Bit sharpening process – “the first of its kind in North America”.
The Robotic system is responsible for 100% of the operation from beginning to the end of the sharpening process.
Also featured is an Ultrasonic pre-cleaning process for all drill bits about to enter the automated sharpening system. The Ultrasonic process guarantees the elimination of hole contamination, dust accumulation and clogged flutes… essential for the highest hole-wall quality.

- AOI system inspects 100% of the resharps against 13 standard defects
